We call our centre the Brighter Days Education Centre, because before students come to us they have often been neglected due to a poorly structured curriculum and unmotivated teachers. When they enrol with us, we send the students to the best schools in the area and give them the support they need to catch up to their peers.
The children attend school in the mornings and then come to our education centre in the afternoon to receive extra tuition and help with their studies. At the education centre the students can also access computers to ensure they are technologically literate, and are exposed to additional activities encouraging them to develop a sense of social responsibility and self-confidence.

At Be Benevolent,we don't only want our children to achieve academic success. We also expect them to become model citizens, with an awareness of the world around them. This means teaching them about technology, environmental sustainability, animal welfare, cultural diversity and emotional intelligence.
Each month we have a different theme at our education centre, to ensure the students have a balanced education and the skills they need to navigate an increasingly globalised world.
We taught the children to care for animals and the importance of treating them kindly. With many stray dogs in Varanasi, the children also learned how to approach them safely.
We taught the children the importance of good hygiene. Washing hands protects them and others from germs, and brushing teeth is essential for good health.
